‘I could and want to live in Burberry everyday’ – those were my thoughts after this show. The signature Burberry trenches were given a colour boost, fishtail flair at the hem, the metallic theme was also present. Christopher Bailey said he wanted the collection ‘playful, sassy and joyous with colors so intense you wring them out’ and that’s exactly what he achieved.
Anna Wintour, Dita von Teese and Claire of Fashion Bomb Daily were amongst those who attended the show as well.
A quote by Christopher Bailey that struck a chord with me : “You need to do things that make people smile, to have a point of view. And if you work with integrity and honesty, you can ride out the challenges.” Christopher Bailey and Tom Ford have to be my favourite males in the fashion industry…aaah Mr Tom Ford..he renders me speechless.
