Steph of Scents with Stories a perfume enthusiast of note and also fragrance content creator shared with us her most luxurious winter fragrances:
Annone – Pantheon Roma
Picture yourself on a luxurious yacht on the southern coast of Italy. The breeze is caressing your hair, and you’re sipping on a crisp glass of Krug champagne… envision the most beautiful blend of mango, oud, saffron and rose. This is Annone. A fragrance named after the albino white elephant which was gifted to Pope Leo X for his coronation in 1514, this too embodies opulence and royalty. Annone performs beautifully all year round and somehow seems to adapt uniquely in each season, however there’s just something about how it cuts through that winter air. It’s magnificent! (Retails for £220/100ml)

Amber Aoud – ROJA Parfums
This wouldn’t be a winter fragrance line up without Amber Aoud included. This full bodied and spicy rose oud blend screams rich Middle Eastern luxury. It possesses a bold scent trail that will have people smelling you before they see you! (Retails for £300/50ml)

Arabians Tonka – Montale
Speaking of smelling you before they see you scents, this is another powerhouse! A concoction of rich tonka, rose and oud. This must be approached with caution however, especially the over-sprayers out there.. we know who we are. (Retails for £110/100ml)

Crystal Saffron – Matiere Premiere
A crisp saffron overload! I have always enjoyed saffron in fragrance but this is the fragrance that really began our love affair. I find the ambroxan note especially a perfect representation of a crisp winter’s day with clear sunny skies. (Retails for £155/50ml)

Les Sable Roses – Louis Vuitton
The more feminine counterpart to Ombré Nomade, Les Sables Roses excludes a luxurious smoothness, like fine grains of dessert sand. Sharp saffron, centifolia and Bulgarian rose, and deep oud wood come together perfectly for this masterpiece. (Retails for £320/100ml)

Tobacolor – Dior Privée
This is one I strictly reserve for the winter months. I truly believe the peach, honey and tobacco notes in here perform best in the cold. So rich, warm, bold and comforting. (Retails for £255/125ml)

Lune Feline – Atelier Des Ors
This isn’t just any vanilla fragrance. This is possibly the queen of dark vanillas. An intoxicatingly deep aroma of warm spices, balsamic woody notes, and divine sweet vanilla. Oh so sexy! (Retails for £225/100ml)

7 Minutes – Kheir Fragrance House
If you’re looking for an “ultimate gourmand vanilla” scent that retains a strong layer of sophistication, you absolutely need to experience 7 Minutes. This debut fragrance release from Kheir Fragrance House is like the best parts of your favourite vanilla scents, all blended into one. A sweet fluffy opening gives way to a light floral rose middle, and dries down to a deep and slightly caramelised vanilla base. Outstanding! (Retails for £126/100ml)
